Wendy doesn't just work in the food and wine industry, it’s her passion, something that became a strong influence on her life from an early age. From the day she received her first cookbook at the age of six she was hooked!
Starting her career as award-winning cocktail specialist, she has been a chef, restaurant owner and most recently a contributing writer to wine publications, wine and cheese educator and a designer of unique corporate wine events/outings.
Wendy's education in the food world is vast! Including specialty courses at the New School and the French Culinary Institute, she holds the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust Advanced Certificate, Certified Specialist of Wine status from the Society of Wine Educators and the Master/Professional Certificates from the Artisanal Cheese Center in Manhattan. Her love of wine has led on a journey through Austria, Germany, France, Turkey and Spain, with stops to explore some of the delightfully stinky cheese caves of Europe!
